What is HoopScape?
HoopScape is a practice-planning tool for basketball coaches. You design drills on a virtual half-court, animate the movement, organize drills into timed practice plans, and run the session courtside from your phone. Your library syncs across your iPhone, iPad, Android device, and the web.
How much does it cost?
HoopScape is free to use, and there are no ads. Designing drills, planning practices, and the community are all free.
Future versions may add optional paid upgrades, but the core coaching tools will stay free.
How do I sign in?
You can sign in with your Google or Apple account, or create an account with an email address and password — whichever you prefer. If you're having trouble, use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen to reset it, or email support@hoopscape.app.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can permanently delete your account from inside the app at any time:
Profile → Delete account.
This immediately and irreversibly removes your account and everything tied to it — every drill, practice, diagram, and post you created. It can't be undone, and you don't need to contact us to do it. If you're unable to reach the app for any reason, email support@hoopscape.app from your account's email address and we'll delete it for you.
Can I diagram full-court plays or press breaks?
Right now HoopScape uses a half-court — which covers the large majority of what coaches diagram: offense, half-court defense, pick-and-roll, shooting, and small-sided games. Full-court diagramming (for press breaks and full-floor transition) is on our roadmap and best suited to landscape on a tablet. If it's important to your program, tell us at support@hoopscape.app — coach demand moves it up the list.
Is my data private? Do you show ads or track me?
No ads, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. We collect only what's needed to run the app, we don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for marketing. We use a crash-reporting service (Sentry) to find and fix bugs, and an email service (Resend) to deliver your feedback to our team. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I share a drill or a practice?
Open the drill or practice, tap Share, and you'll get a link anyone can open in a browser — no account required to view it. You control each link: set it to expire, or revoke it later from My shared links in your profile.
Which devices does it work on?
HoopScape runs on the web in any modern browser today, and the iPhone, iPad, and Android apps are on their way to the App Store and Google Play. Whatever you use, your library stays in sync — build a drill on your laptop and it's on your phone at practice.
